Update time

It's been awhile my bloggie!

well for starters I just finished exercising which I haven't been keeping up with for months now...and my body was telling me that it was bloody time to get to it! so I did...=) going on the treadmill is just plain boring..I'd rather go to the gym with my sister where over there..someone is pushing me! lol lazy me...=P next time lah


oh yah! we presented our menu yesterday and guess what!! It went well! and the teacher was impressed...I think... =S well from the way she talked it sounded like she was impressed with it..

Good lah!!! after our long hours of coming up with the idea and what to serve and long hours at the freezing library!!!

Look how tired and bored I was!! not to mention freezing my butt off!!! =(

lol! and yesterday when we were heading off..Grace, U-Jean and I fought for the front seat! lol that's not surprising though...we always fight for the front seat!! lol we push each other..slap..punch...you name it! we've done it all, and all because we want the front seat! haha and guess who got it this time.... ;P

Anyway on to another topic...Butchery!

Today it was all about seafood!! we did Lobster..crab..prawns...oysters...mussels..

Did you know??

• That you should put lobsters into cold water so that it will be like it's natural environment..and that water will make the lobster relax therefore it's muscles will loosen up and after cooking it, the meat will be more tender. It's also because if we put it immediately into a piping hot pot of water that would be considered as cruelty to animals.

• That after cutting the lobster into half and putting salt onto the meat the muscles will still move!!

and I tried the lobsters what I think..was the intestine...and boy was that gross to eat..

but eating lobster meat raw isn't that bad...for someone who doesn't eat raw meat....

Here we have prawns with cheese and black pepper.. well you can't see the black pepper...as a matter of fact..even taste it.. cause we put heapss of cheese!! haha

By the way... David Cook won American idol??? what's up with that???? Archuleta should had been the winner! I mean after Cook's terrible performance last night...I was shocked with the songs he picked!...I mean he could had picked 'Always be my Baby' or 'Billie Jean' but he picked some other song....sigh..and he won...not that smart really... but Archuleta on the other hand was smart and picked all the right songs which SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED HIM TO WIN!!! I just don't get it...guess the people picked Cook because Simon was undermining him??and praising Archuleta.... anyway... Congrats David Cook on winning American Idol! =)
